Ava won the first Award of Merit and Select Bitch
under breeder judge Rebecca Kestle, DVM.

"Ava" is a gorgeous brown with black overlay.  She finished easily expertly handled by Tuni Chaflin on the east coast with three major wins.  While at the 2009 Akita National she won the following:

• Best in Futurity under breeder judge Joann Charnik
• 1st in Open at the Pre-National
• 1st in 18-24 months at the National Sweepstakes
• 2nd in 18-24 months at the Pre-National Sweeps 
• 4th in Open at the National

As you can see she is a beauty, lovely angulation, gorgeous head, substance, strong topline and tailset.  I don't know what we could ask to change, except the color.  Her energy and personality are fantastic.  She loves everyone and you can't help but love her back.  She is shown here at eighteen months old.
