Champions and companions that win
your heart. Moonlight Akitas is a small Akita kennel established in
1991. Currently only the four Akitas pictured above reside at
Moonlight; Queen is my housedog. I co-own many Akitas and those
Akitas live with their owners throughout the United States and
Mexico. This allows all my Akitas to be able to receive more one on
one attention versus having many Akitas at my home.
I hope you enjoy your visit at
Moonlight Akitas home on the web. You will find almost everything
you will need to know about my Akitas on the site. I like to think
that I have one of the most user friendly Akita sites on the web. If

Please note: A
dog that has any of these health problems can sometimes lead a normal life
that will bring the owner great satisfaction even though they might
require medication or medical attention. However, some dogs that
develop one of these diseases may cost the Owner lots of money to treat
the disease or may result in the early death of the Akita. NO
breeder can guarantee that the Akita that you acquire will not develop an
inheritable disease; however, a reputable breeder will only place a puppy

It is the purchaser's
responsibility to educate themselves on their dog's breeder and genetic
history of the dog's parents.
