AKITAS THAT NEED FOREVER HOMESCALL Sue, 505-265-1699, for additional information about other available Akitas, as Akitas are given to Rescue for placement at any time and this site may not always be current and update.
Sex: Female Hattie was found living at a construction site, being fed by one of the workers there. She had been there for three days and the woman who found her kept her another three days trying to find her owners before contacting rescue, so no early information is known about her. She gets along well with a large Akita male at her foster home. She’s a pretty, very sweet long-coat Akita who needs a SECURE yard as she’s been observed attempting to climb a 4’ chain link fence. Contact Sue at 265-1699 or Jim or Chrisan for more information, akita2s@comcast.net or call 505-400-9870.

ZOE
Sex: Spayed Female Color: Red Age: 6 years Size: Large (105 pounds) Disposition: Very animal aggressive good with people Health: Current Immunizations Training: Basic Training
Zoe was originally from the New York area and the owner no longer wants Zoe because of her HIGH PREY drive and landlord issues concerning the dog. She is very small animal aggressive and would require a home with a very secure yard and intelligent Akita owners. She has lived with a male chowchow cross. She is very good on a leash. She's a great house dog and has been with her current owner since she was 11 months old. No experience with children and fine with adults. Does have a small growth on side as the current owner can't afford to provide medical care. PLEASE contact Jim or Chrisan for more information, akita2s@comcast.net or call 505-400-9870 OR call Sue at 265-1699.
