Moonlight Akitas firmly believes that a small breeding program is best to ensure the Akitas receive ample attention.  Therefore, it is my goal to retire my Akitas in family homes where they can be spoilt housedogs, usually when they are between three and six years old.  They then live out their lives in their fantastic homes.  Meanwhile, I have my one Akita housedog, who is Queen, and she will live with me for her lifetime.  If you are interested in providing a retired champion a home, please contact me.
