Pictured below at 2.5
years old Stitches finished his AKC championship earning all points from the bred-by class. He lived at Moonlight Akitas for one year and then moved to Tucson with the Anibal family. Tragically a biting incident occurred and all parties involved agreed to let Stitches go. But it reinforced amongst us that we have to be careful with Akitas to insure they meet all strangers correctly to insure accidents don't occur. Stitches was wonderful with me and my 60+ year old dogsitter. He was a fun dog, a real clown and extremely affectionate. He was wonderful with the Anibal family and he was awesome with children. One mistake is all it takes, so if you are reading this, please be aware of the situations you put your dogs in and protect them from making poor decisions.
