Velvet's lovely head, a female brindle Akita Velvet, a brindle Akita, wins four point major at the Tampa Bay Akita Club Specialty

Velvet is shown above at 11 months old winning Winners Bitch for a four point major from the 9-12 puppy class at the Akita Club of Tampa Bay Specialty on July 8, 2005. She went on to win another 4 point major the same weekend (shown below) and also won a four point reserve. She did this with hardly any coat, her legs were naked and we made it snow Velvet hair in the grooming area daily. She finished her championship on the January Florida circuit shown by my Rotty friend, Nancy Griego.
